Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Robert got into trouble with the law from the start. He was arrested twice while in high school. He was dishonorably discharged from the Marines for a robbery.
Robert’s father was arrested for molesting a 12-year-old girl in 1964. He committed suicide before the trial.
He started working as a truck driver in the 1970s. That was the beginning of Robert’s murder, torture, and rape of 50 women. He photographed them too.
Robert married three times and even had a son. Before the world knew of his violence, his wives did. One of them later told that Robert was aroused by seeing her suffer, even when she was hospitalized for Lupus.
Everyone knew he was into BDSM. His nickname was “whips and chains.”
