Teenager Disemboweled And Dissected Couple After Murdering Them
As early as ten years old, Daniel Marsh wanted to be a serial killer.
Daniel Marsh tortured and outright mutilated the aged Oliver “Chip” Northup Jr and his wife Claudia Maupin in Davis, California, on April 14, 2013. Shockingly, Daniel was only fifteen years old at the time. Later, it was revealed that he had a disturbing history of fantasizing about gory murders.
Fantasized About Murders And Planning As A Hobby
Daniel wanted to be a serial killer since he was ten years old. These tendencies emerged when his parents separated in 2008. Enraged at his father leaving his mother for another woman, Marsh coped through disturbingly detailed homicidal fantasies. However, this was only the beginning. He soon started dreaming about killing others too. At age 11, he confided his desire to actualize these fantasies to his therapist. Unsurprisingly enough, Daniel was diagnosed with an adjustment disorder.
These fantasies started translating into reality in seventh grade as he threatened physical harm to others. Needless to say, Daniel’s parents were worried, with no idea what to do. They loved their son but increasingly felt him to be a stranger.
