Teen Girl Raped And Murdered On A Spring Break Getaway
Neither the murderer nor Brittanee Drexel’s remains were discovered until thirteen years later.
On April 22, 2009, Brittanee had a massive argument with her mother, Dawn Drexel. She wanted to go on a vacation to Myrtle Beach to enjoy her spring break, but Dawn would not permit her. However, Brittanee did not listen to her like any other 17-year-old. Little did she know that her mother was unknowingly saving her from an awful tragedy.

Brittanee was a student at Gates-Chili high school in Rochester, New York. She was one of the popular girls and had a 19-year-old boyfriend, John Grieco. They dated on and off for over two years before realizing they could not live without each other.
However, as her love story blossomed, her parents split in 2008. It upset Brittanee a lot, and she began acting out. Even though her father, Chad Drexel, continued to be a part of her life, she could not understand her parents’ life-changing decision.
