In February 2019, Aliny arrived at the London Road bus stop to pick up her children from school. Her three-year-old accompanied her, eager to see her siblings. However, a man struck Aliny before they could get to the school. The attack was so brutal that Aliny could not possibly have survived it.
Makes Big Plans For The Future
Aliny grew up in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. After graduating high school, she got a couple of part-time jobs to help her parents run the house. Aliny started working full-time at a clothes store when she was 22 years old, having no idea it would lead her to meet her soulmate.
Ricardo Godinho, 24, was making his delivery rounds at the store when he first came across Aliny. The two remained friends for two years and got to know one other before starting a relationship in March 2003.
In the following months, Aliny planned to relocate to London, England, with Ricardo permanently. She saw the move as a better bet for their promising future. The opportunity presented itself when she learned that Ricardo was eligible to seek an Italian passport due to his Italian ancestry.
