When Bobby was a teenager, he harbored an intense hatred toward women. He started his criminal career as a ‘Classified Ad Rapist’ and raped over 50 women.

However, that was just the beginning of his rampage. In 1984, Bobby murdered nine women in eight months. Lisa McVey, 17, was his last victim, and she led to his undoing.

Bullied As A Child

Bobby had always been different from other children. He was born with an extra x chromosome and his mother, Louella Long, was extremely overprotective of him. She relocated to Miami from Kenova to raise her son there.

Despite Louella’s attempts to shield Bobby from the cruel world, he was bullied throughout his school years. He turned to his mother for comfort and continued to sleep in her bed until he was 13. He stopped because Louella brought multiple boyfriends home, and Bobby hated them for stealing his mother.
