We have all heard of the Bermuda Triangle and are equally scared of its infamous mysterious disappearances. Yet, few of us know about the Bennington Triangle. That, of course, is not its real name. Coined by author Joseph A. Citro in 1992, this area invokes fear in many Americans.

Located in Southwestern Vermont, this supposed triangle has been the source of many haunted folklores for decades. However, they came into the limelight in the 1940s when the disappearances shocked and scared many.

Centered in Glastenbury Mountain, the Bennington Triangle was once surrounded by thriving industrial towns. However, they began to decline in the 19th century and were officially declared ghost towns in 1937. That increases the mystery surrounding it.
