Jersey had a seven-year crime-free streak, making it one of the safest places. But, this was all before the unfortunate night in August 2011 when Damian Rzeszowski betrayed his family and brutally assassinated them. His heinous killing spree was a tragedy that Jersey will not recover from for years. It shocked the entire island, leaving its residents in need of therapy.
A Family Of Four
Damian grew up in Poland, and he was in his late 20s when he met Izabela Rzeszowski in a bar. They met by coincidence and immediately captured each other’s attention. Shortly, the two began a relationship, and Izabela moved in with Damian. Their life together in Poland was good, but they wished to settle down and start a family on the small island of St Helier, Jersey.
